At Docherty Coaching, our mission is to create meaningful opportunities for athletes and coaches to grow through sport. We provide personalized training built around each athlete’s lifestyle, goals, and needs — because growth happens when structure, accountability, and support work together.
Our core offering is a customized training plan paired with ongoing communication and adjustments. Athletes receive weekly programming, consistent check-ins, and purposeful structure designed with long-term development in mind.
Beyond individualized coaching, we are committed to building community spaces where athletes can train, compete, and connect. Whether the goal is daily activity, improved performance, expanding skillsets, or meeting new people, our programs are built around engaging fully in the process of improvement.
My experience as an athlete, coach, and athletic director has inspired me to create a place where community and sport come together. I want to provide the guidance, structure, and support that athletes need to train, compete, and enjoy the journey. We’ll start small and grow as the need grows — bringing people together to move, play, and challenge themselves.
Docherty Coaching exists to fill a gap in the community: consistent, welcoming spaces where people can show up, train with purpose, and grow from the experience.

Up to 1 hour/month of communication via Final Surge, email, or text
Daily workout tracking for running, strength, cross-training, and more within Final Surge
Customized pace zones, updated as needed
Annual race planning within Final Surge
Periodic performance and mindset support, including goal setting, race planning, workout feedback, and guided reflection exercises as needed
What’s Included:
Two monthly coaching calls — or one in-person meet-up/run/workout (for local athletes)

Up to 2 hours/month of communication via Final Surge, email, or text
Daily workout tracking for running, strength, cross-training, and more within Final Surge
