The mission of Docherty Coaching is to provide an environment and opportunity for athletes and coaches to grow through sport. Our core offering is a customized training plan with personalized communication and adjustments based on an individual lifestyle and needs. The goal is to offer an athlete accountability with weekly programming, consistency with communication and check-ins, and structure with a training plan focused on long-term goals and proper development in mind. Another offering that we hope to grow is creating spaces where we come together to train, compete and socialize in a community. The goal of both offerings is to engage with the process of reaching a specific goal, whether it is being active each day, improving in a particular performance or skill-set, or making a new friend.
My experience as an athlete, coach, and athletic director has led me to embark on this journey of creating community sports as a coach. I want to provide the structure, community, and guidance for athletes who are looking to train and compete. We will start small, and we hope to grow as time and the need allows. I wanted more freedom to coach and bring people together to play. I think it is an essential need in the community and I want to fill an opening that I do not see readily available. Consistent places to meet up to train, enjoy a sport, and grow from the experience.

--Customized pace zones are provided within Final Surge (updated when necessary)
--Annual race planning available within Final Surge
--Periodic goal setting, race planning, workout feedback, reflections or other various exercises to enhance your mental approach to training and racing are offered as needed
--2 scheduled calls, or 1 meet-up, or run/workout per month are available (if local)
--1 customized run training plan distributed on a weekly basis through Final Surge that is fit to the athlete and the goal races
--Communication through Final Surge, email or text (up to 2 hours per month)
--Daily tracking of running, strength training, cross-training and other workouts within Final Surge
--Customized pace zones are provided within Final Surge (updated when necessary)
--Annual race planning available within Final Surge
--Periodic goal setting, race planning, workout feedback, reflections or other various exercises to enhance your mental approach to training and racing are offered as needed
--2 scheduled calls or 2 meet-ups, runs/workouts per month are available (if local)
--1 customized run training plan distributed on a weekly basis through Final Surge that is fit to the athlete and the goal races
--Communication through Final Surge, email or text (up to 3 hours per month)
--Daily tracking of running, strength training, cross-training and other workouts within Final Surge
--Customized pace zones are provided within Final Surge (updated when necessary)
--Annual race planning available within Final Surge
--Periodic goal setting, race planning, workout feedback, reflections or other various exercises to enhance your mental approach to training and racing are offered as needed
--Pick and choose what you want (more or less) from a coach based on the offerings above and we can make it work at a price that is comfortable to you
