Danny Docherty

 

Coaching Highlights:

10+ years of coaching experience at the youth to adult levels

Specializes in coaching running, track, and cross-country

USATF Level II Youth Specialization, USATFCCA Level II Endurance Specialist and Lydiard Foundation Level I & II Certifications

 

Athletic Highlights:

2x Olympic Trials Qualifier in the Marathon (2020 and 2024)

Lifelong athlete with core experiences in soccer, basketball, baseball, track & field and cross-country

PB of 2:15:55 in the Marathon and 1:03:47 in the Half Marathon

 

Danny enjoys the process of getting to know a person and an athlete and then progressing them toward their goals at a reasonable rate and in a collaborative way. This includes a healthy balance of fun and hard work to ensure a person sees both progress and joy through the experience and pursuit of a goal.

 

 

Bev Docherty

 

Coaching Highlights:

28 years of teaching and coaching at the K-12 level

Collegiate coaching experience at the DIII level

Specializes in running, track & field and cross-country

Lifelong runner with a wealth of experience coaching herself and others to goals in the sport

Mother of Four

Master's of Education in Physical Education at the University of Iowa

USATF Level II in Sprints, Hurdles & Relays, Distance, and Strength & Conditioning

Coached high school student-athletes to 63 State Qualifying Events with 35 All State Honors, 5 Individual State Champions, 1 Relay State Champion in Track & Field and 12 State Qualifiers with 4 All State Honors in Cross-Country

 

Athletic Highlights:

6x Olympic Trials Qualifier in the Marathon (1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004)

2x U.S. Masters National Champion in the Marathon (1998 & 2000)

Inductee for the Minnesota Track & Field Hall of Fame in 2003

Career Personal Bests of 2:38 in the Marathon and 58:59 in the 10 Mile

Masters Personal Bests of 2:42 in the Marathon and 1:19 in the Half Marathon

 

Bev believes anyone can become a successful runner. Establishing appropriate goals, setting up a doable plan to reach those goals, and supporting the runner along the way are what she has enjoyed doing for many years, and hopes to continue to do.

BRONZE PACKAGE ($100/MONTH)

 

--1 scheduled call, meet-up or run/workout per month is available (if local)

--1 customized run training plan distributed on a weekly basis through Final Surge that is fit to the athlete and the goal races

--Communication through Final Surge, email or text (up to 1 hour per month)

--Daily tracking of running, strength training, cross-training and other workouts within Final Surge

--Customized pace zones are provided within Final Surge (updated when necessary)

--Annual race planning available within Final Surge

--Periodic goal setting, race planning, workout feedback, reflections or other various exercises to enhance your mental approach to training and racing are offered as needed

 

SILVER PACKAGE ($150/MONTH)

 

--2 scheduled calls, meet-ups or runs/workouts per month are available (if local)

--1 customized run training plan distributed on a weekly basis through Final Surge that is fit to the athlete and the goal races

--Communication through Final Surge, email or text (up to 2 hours per month)

--Daily tracking of running, strength training, cross-training and other workouts within Final Surge

--Customized pace zones are provided within Final Surge (updated when necessary)

--Annual race planning available within Final Surge

--Periodic goal setting, race planning, workout feedback, reflections or other various exercises to enhance your mental approach to training and racing are offered as needed

 

GOLD PACKAGE ($300/MONTH)

 

--3 scheduled calls, meet-ups or runs/workouts per month are available (if local)

--1 customized run training plan distributed on a weekly basis through Final Surge that is fit to the athlete and the goal races

--Communication through Final Surge, email or text (up to 3 hours per month)

--Daily tracking of running, strength training, cross-training and other workouts within Final Surge

--Customized pace zones are provided within Final Surge (updated when necessary)

--Annual race planning available within Final Surge

--Periodic goal setting, race planning, workout feedback, reflections or other various exercises to enhance your mental approach to training and racing are offered as needed
